Cooperation agreement with Holzring 

 

SYSTRAPLAN enters into partnerships

Trade companies are faced with increasing cost pressure and a higher product variety creating a  growing demand for automatic storage and commissioning systems for board materials. Systraplan has concluded an agreement with Holzring to deliver the technology required.

Holzring is one of the leading associations in the wood trade.  The objecitve of this cooperation is to use existing synergies and to advise the affiliated timber merchants in an optimum manner.

The advantage for affiliates is that SYSTRAPLAN has many years of experience in designing and in the errection of picking and logistics systems for board materials in the timber trade.

A long experience in the handling of wood-based boards

In the 1990ies one of the first systems was installed at Holz Blum in Meckenheim, and which is still  in use today. The largest system so far was installed at Carl Götz in Neu-Ulm.

But also numerous smaller panel storage systems – be it as area storage or high bay rack storage – have been implemented in the past.

Broad product portfolio

SYSTRAPLAN’s product portfolio offers a wide range – from area storage systems for smaller and mid-range enterprises to complete high rack storage systems for high picking performances.

Each system is specially designed to the respective customer.

Volkslager – High bay rack storage system

SYSTRAPLAN has recently introduced a reasonable VOLKSLAGER – High bay rack storage system.  This concept is particularly interesting for companies who have invested in an area storage system for reasons of economy. For a nearly equal price, the advantages of a high-rack storage sytem are clearly convincing in comparison with an area storage system.

Individual solutions

The systems installed are no standard solutions in general. In cooperation with the client SYSTRAPLAN’s team evaluates the current situation in order to develop an optimal concept proposal when needed. This ensures that the client has an optimum cost effect relation.

Warehouse management with interface to ERP

Each storage variation is equipped with an efficient warehouse management system. An interface to the merchandise management system provides transparent processes and accurate, correct stocks.

The optimisations developed over the years secure the efficiency when commissioning.
