PITLESS HIGH PERFORMANCE FEEDING AND STACKING SYSTEM FOR WORKING LINES TREATING FLAT MATERIAL

Systraplan, a company located in Herford, introduces the first  pitless  high performance feeding and stacking system with circulating suction belts. Parallel to our main construction fields such as production line machines, handling and warehouse systems this system will extend the scope of our products into new areas.

After the prototype was  successfully presented during the  LIGNA 2001-fair the first production ready system is just about to be distributed.

With this new system working lines can be fed or stacks behind the lines formed. The processing of different stack types is possible.

According to the systems disposition the pieces can either be taken in longitudinal or crosswise direction.  Low space requirement and the unnecessary  pit facilitates the refitting into available processing lines.

The system consists of lifting platforms able to step up so that  the upper pieces of a stack are always separated on the same level each time.

This pre-separation helps to bring the pieces to the circulating suction belt system.

By a special system the vacuum in the releasing area is interrupted, thus the pieces fall down. The swords of the rotation elevator which are kept steadily in horizontal position take over the pieces and put them down onto the lower infeed roller conveyor of the production line.

In case of a stack building system the processes will be reversed. This means from the outfeed conveyor the  pieces are taken up by the rotation elevator lifted to a height of approx. 2,2 m and passed on to the suction belt system.

The belt system transports the pieces to one side where they are then brought into position above a lifting platform where they are released in a controlled way.

The stack is formed with exact vertical edges with the help of aligning elements.

Different stacks can be built on the lifting platforms from pieces lying parallely or one after the other at the same time (picture layers).

Optional to our clients requirements a disposal or supplying system of protective boards or palettes can be attached.

After a successful presentation at the LIGNA 2001 you will also find Systraplan at the CeMAT 2002 in Hanover.  With our new pitless high performance feeding and stacking system we present an innovation. This system is a highlight and our contribution to the fair.  The CeMAT is from 15  – 20  April 2002 in Hanover.
