A year of change: SYSTRAPLAN in 2023
The year began with a significant change in management. On December 31, 2022, Mr. Werner Krutemeier stepped down from the Management Board. We are deeply grateful to him for his outstanding work and dedication. He was succeeded by Mr. Florian Krutemeier, who took over as Managing Director on 1 January 2023 and brought fresh perspectives to the company. At the same time, Mr. Hartmut Brünger was granted power of attorney.Participating in important industry trade fairs such as Ligna and IRMRA 2023 also finally gave us another excellent platform to present our latest solutions and technologies. These events enabled us to make new valuable contacts and strengthen old ones.
We were able to successfully implement several important projects in 2023. One highlight was the Fournier Group's new production site, which is equipped with our automated storage systems and ensures continuous production. Another milestone was the launch of the Intralox® DARB™ conveyor for running strips, a testament to our innovative technology. We would also like to highlight the success of LEEUWERIK, a wholesaler and importer of wood-based materials, which celebrated the removal of its two millionth panel from its fully automated picking warehouse, which has been in operation for 9 years.
Together for a better future
This year, we have once again decided to make a donation instead of sending small Christmas presents. We are therefore supporting Aktion Lichtblicke and the association of the same name.Aktion Lichtblicke e.V. has stood for support and hope in North Rhine-Westphalia for 25 years. The organization is dedicated to children and families who are in material, financial or emotional need. The campaign was launched by the NRW local radio stations, the supporting program RADIO NRW, the Caritas associations of the five NRW dioceses and the Diakonie Rheinland-Westfalen-Lippe. It represents a network of help that supports those who are otherwise often overlooked with various campaigns.
We hope that this will inspire others to participate in the Aktion Lichtblicke with donations. Every donation, large or small, helps to make a positive difference to the lives of children in need and their families. It is an opportunity to make a positive impact in society beyond the business sector and to work together for the good of society.
Outlook for 2024: SYSTRAPLAN's future direction
With the various successes behind us, we look to 2024 with confidence. Our goal is to offer even more efficient and powerful solutions for our customers. We strive to continuously improve our technologies and continue to lead the production logistics industry.As this eventful year draws to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to send you and your families warm Christmas greetings and wish you a Happy New Year.
